Hudson River Days
Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21, 2013
The Fifth-Annual celebration of Hudson River Days will take place July 20 - 21, 2013 with more than 40 river and riverfront events spanning the length of the Hudson from New York City to Albany. Two River Days events will anchor the festivities on Saturday, July 20th: City of Water Day in New York Harbor and Hudson Rising and Hudson River Days on the Kingston waterfront and Uptown. The replica ship Half Moon will sail to Kingston and dock at the Rondout Landing for the day. Come aboard for deck tours! Other Hudson River Days activities include free ferry transit between Governor's Island and Liberty Island, live music, exhibits, half-price kayak and canoe outings, races, children's adventures, sails, fishing, and more. On Saturday, participate in the Great Hudson River Fish Count which takes place at a dozen sites on the Hudson from Brooklyn Bridge Park to the Cohotate Preserve in Athens.
